About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Staff Accountant to join our team at Sikich. As a Tax Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of tax returns for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses, including Forms 1040, 1120, 1120S, 1065, and 1041.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their tax needs are met.
  • Assist in generating new business opportunities and identifying ways to improve our tax services.
  • Contribute to the development of our team, providing guidance and support to junior staff members.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring our clients receive the best possible advice.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA or EA certification preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in tax compliance, preferably in a public accounting firm.
  • Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
