Position SummaryAs a Floating Ambassador, you will have the chance to collaborate with exceptional individuals who are equally passionate about delivering outstanding service. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Covering the reception and lobby areas as needed, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all clients, guests, vendors, and employees.
- Engaging warmly with clients and guests, facilitating smooth check-ins and escorting them to their destinations.
- Understanding the client culture and key activities to enhance transparency and communication.
- Managing the internal visitor greeting process and staying updated on daily meetings and changes.
- Acting as the first point of contact for any issues or emergencies, taking ownership of challenges and resolving them effectively.
- Conducting site inspections to ensure room readiness and proper event materials are available.
- Answering phone calls at the reception desk, directing inquiries, and managing messages.
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of emergency procedures and being prepared to act accordingly.
Client Engagement
- Greet all visitors with a smile, ensuring eye contact is made within 10 feet of entrances.
- Proactively address inquiries and requests, collaborating with the Hospitality Services Manager as necessary.
- Work closely with team members to ensure seamless transitions throughout the guest experience.
- Offer refreshments in the lounge area and coordinate with food services for replenishment.
Team Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and management, maintaining attention to detail in all interactions.
- Stay informed about business activities and share updates with your team.
- Assist in training new associates and participate in cross-training programs.
Professional Standards
- Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
- Adhere to uniform and presentation standards as outlined in the dress policy.
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
