Paraplanner/Registered Assistant

Join Claire Myers Consulting as a Paraplanner/Registered Assistant and contribute to delivering exceptional financial planning experiences for our clients. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with our Financial Advisor to provide comprehensive support in financial planning and investment advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning: Assist in creating financial plans for clients, including investment reviews, retirement modeling, insurance analysis, tax planning, college planning, Social Security analysis, pension analysis, and other wealth management needs.
  • Portfolio Management: Process trades as directed, rebalance portfolios, and prepare risk analysis for the advisor using appropriate tools.
  • Client Service: Provide daily resolution for custodial alerts, client requests, and other back-office support tasks.
  • Technology and Process Improvement: Master and improve the functionality of various programs, research, recommend, and implement technology upgrades as needed.
  • Client Onboarding: Generate new client paperwork and manage the new client onboarding process.
  • Marketing and Analytics: Assist in marketing initiatives, including analytics, social media, client material, blog content, and website updates.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in the wealth management industry.
  • Experience trading.
  • Experience with MoneyGuide Pro and NFS (preferred but not required).
Compensation:
  • $30-$35/hour.
  • 15-20 hours per week.
Location:
  • Remote (candidates must reside within 2 hours of Glen Ellyn, IL).
