Job Title: Foster Care Family Therapist

Advanced Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a skilled mental health therapist to join our team in Baltimore, MD. As a Foster Care Family Therapist, you will provide psychotherapy to children placed in out-of-home care and their families, helping them navigate the challenges of foster care and work towards permanency plan goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients in accordance with established practice standards and expectations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client and family.
  • Collaborate with other members of the client's treatment team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes and documentation.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in the field.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
  • Licensed in the state of Maryland as a LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, or LCPC.
  • Previous experience in psychotherapy and working with children and families in foster care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
