Overview

Mercy is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to join our team. As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, you will work with members of the healthcare team to provide safe and effective drug therapy. You will serve as a drug information resource to pharmacy, nursing, and medical staffs as well as to patients. Your duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Completed PGY-1 or 4 years hospital pharmacy experience in specialty area.
  • Minimum requirement of Bachelor of Science (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
  • Preferred Education: Four or more years clinical experience and a PGY -2 residency is preferred.
  • Eligible for Board of Pharmacy Specialties certification (preferred in area of specialty practice).
  • Requires a current pharmacist license from state of practice.
