We're seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician Specialist to join our team at Mercy. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to our patients.
Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications
- Accountable to the supervising pharmacist for the care and safety of patients
- May engage in complex medication distribution processes, have additional department responsibilities, and/or function in specialized areas of responsibility
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current State Technician license in good standing
- 1 year relevant pharmacy experience required
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or obtained within 6 months of hire
