Position Summary:
The Lead Analyst for Workday Integrations within the HRIS domain is tasked with delivering advanced technical expertise to oversee data transitions into and out of the Global Human Resources Information System (Workday). This role collaborates closely with the HRIS Senior Manager of Integrations to facilitate all integration processes across various Workday modules including HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Recruiting.
This position serves as a Technical Liaison to Corporate IT, Global Payroll, and HR Centers of Excellence (Benefits, Compensation, and Talent Acquisition) to gather system requirements and configure integrations as necessary.
Utilizing a comprehensive understanding of system functionalities alongside other functional and technical skills, this role will provide ongoing maintenance and enhancement support for users and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, thorough analysis, and upkeep of Workday Integrations with external and downstream systems, ensuring efficient data flow and operational functionality.
- Support initiatives related to acquisitions and divestitures concerning data migrations to and from Workday and the subsequent integration implications.
- Engage directly with key business stakeholders and HR/IT/third-party partners to define requirements, explore design alternatives, facilitate discussions, and ultimately configure, test, and implement integration solutions.
- Provide expert guidance and recommend best practices in response to end-user inquiries.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Workday Integrations.
- Collaborate with the HR Technology team in configuring and testing integrations that intersect with functional design or business process operations.
- Assess, communicate, and coordinate the technical ramifications of integration configuration decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, or Computer Information Systems.
- A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in designing, building, testing, deploying, and troubleshooting integrations within Workday HCM, Benefits, Payroll, and Recruiting modules.
- At least 3 years of experience in creating Workday Custom Reports, EIB, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, XSLT, and Workday Studio.
- Workday Integrations and Workday Studio Certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience with SAP Workday implementations is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills to comprehend complex technical process issues and facilitate informed decision-making.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple client requests and thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment with minimal supervision.
- Capability to translate business requirements into precise technical specifications.
- In-depth understanding of human resources principles and practices.
- Exceptional client-focus and dedication to customer service.
