About the Role

MiraVista Behavioral Health Center LLC is seeking a skilled Intake Coordinator to join our team. As an Evening Intake Coordinator, you will play a critical role in facilitating the admission process for patients seeking mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process admission referrals and obtain insurance pre-authorizations
  • Assist patients throughout the admission process, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience
  • Maintain patient privacy and safety, completing all necessary searches and assessments
  • Collaborate with the Chief Admissions Director to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • CPR certification
  • Previous psychiatric/substance inpatient experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of behavioral health and substance abuse treatment modalities
