Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Lead and direct a team of nurses and caregivers to provide exceptional care and support to residents.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including dining, general services, and programming, to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Participate in performance improvement processes and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Provide education and training to staff on best practices and new procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Manager and Staff Education & Training Coordinator to plan and evaluate staff education needs.
  • Lead shift meetings to review new policies, processes, or standards.

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in the state of practice.
  • Graduate from an accredited Registered Nurse program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in a continuing care or assisted living facility.
  • Experience documenting in an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system preferred.
