Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the marina's retail space, including cash register operations and administrative tasks.
  • Welcome guests, assist with boat rentals, and handle incoming communications.
  • Manage inquiries, sort mail, and maintain accurate cash register balances.
  • Organize store inventory and place orders as necessary.

Essential Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
  • Strong mathematical skills for daily cash balancing.
  • Proficient phone etiquette and cash register experience.
  • Competent in data entry and familiar with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a focus on time management and attention to detail.
  • A collaborative spirit and self-motivated work ethic.

Daily Duties:

  • Maintain a tidy and organized front desk and retail area.
  • Document and reconcile all transactions accurately.
  • Answer phone calls and direct them appropriately.
  • Facilitate boat rental reservations and check-ins using designated software.
  • Ensure the store is well-stocked and orderly.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including clerical duties and supply ordering.

Physical Requirements:

Candidates must be able to:

  • Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving merchandise.
  • Navigate the store environment effectively.
