About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ecommerce Sales and Marketing Assistant to join our team at Volcus, LLC. As a key member of our Ecommerce team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and success of our e-commerce business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to our Ecommerce Manager and Account Executives team, ensuring inventory is in stock and reviewing reports to inform business decisions.
  • Create email campaign templates and schedule them to capitalize on promotional opportunities, and coordinate launches of new products with the product manager to meet market and customer demand.
  • Update product listings and banners on our website and upload images using Shopify, and cross-check MS Excel reports and Shopify reports from various teams for inventory levels, backlog, and product listings.
  • Respond to customers' inquiries via email, phone, and live chats in a timely manner, assessing, troubleshooting, and providing problem resolution, and prepare estimates and quotes, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery schedules.
  • Enter data for sales orders and various ecommerce reports, and support the preparation of sales reports and presentations, and document customer records accurately to reflect the status of services rendered at all times.
  • Utilize our platform to maintain, update, and edit database information, including product and customer information, and administer return policy according to Volcus policies and procedures.
  • Maintain online vendor portals with current information, and stay current on product information, and perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated effective B2B customer service/marketing support experience, ecommerce preferred.
  • Typing speed at least 70 wpm and data entry experience.
  • Good working knowledge with Microsoft Office - Proficient skills in Excel.
  • ERP experience, Oracle Netsuite a plus.
  • Experience using an online selling portal, Shopify a plus.
  • Sales experience preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills, specifically via computer.
  • Order processing experience, strongly desired.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be flexible with change.
  • Must be able to perform in a fast-paced, quick reaction environment, with a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to keep an even level of composure in all circumstances.
  • Goal-oriented; ability to work independently.
  • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work harmoniously in a team environment.
  • Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken and written communication.
  • Must be honest, ethical, and have a high level of integrity.
