The Bar Prep role is a vital part of our team, responsible for ensuring the bar is fully prepared and stocked for service. This includes preparing syrups, batches, and juices, as well as setting up the station with minimal support from other line employees.
Key Responsibilities- Arrive at work with a positive attitude, prepared for the shift, and ready to contribute to the team's goals.
- Follow daily prep lists assigned by management to ensure the bar is stocked and ready for service.
- Wash, peel, and chop produce for garnishes, and label ingredients and food items to maintain Department of Health guidelines.
- Sanitize work areas and equipment, wash glassware, and take out trash to maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Stock all wares and equipment needed for service, and work with the Head Bartender to continuously improve standard operating procedures.
- Maintain warmth and hospitality in all guest interactions, and communicate necessary guest information with the team to ensure a seamless service experience.
- Complete opening and closing side work checklists daily, and participate in staff training opportunities to update knowledge and skills.
- Be a team player, supporting and assisting fellow team members whenever possible, and communicate effectively with the team to ensure a smooth service experience.
The Bar Prep reports to the Bartenders, Head Bartenders, Leads, Executive Sous Chefs, and Beverage Director. They work in tandem with Barbacks and Bartenders to ensure a seamless service experience.
Compensation and Benefits- $xx/hr plus a point percentage of the full house tip pool, based on hours worked per shift.

The physical demands of this position include seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
