**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Blood Bank Technologist to join our team at KA Recruiting Inc. in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. As a Blood Bank Technologist, you will be responsible for performing specialized procedures unique to laboratory discipline, training and teaching laboratory personnel, and contributing to the continuing education program.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Independently perform specialized procedures unique to laboratory discipline.
* Train and teach laboratory personnel and others, contributing to the continuing education program.
* Observe, verify, and check documentation of less experienced lab personnel.
* Act as lead in absence of supervisor/manager, prepare schedule, or draft procedures.
* Perform special projects as assigned.
**Requirements:**
* ASCP certification (or eligibility/equivalent certification).
* Bachelor's Degree in Science or Associate's Degree in Science.
* Experience is highly preferred.
