Job Purpose

The Dealer Financial Services (DFS) Business Support department is integral to managing wholesale floorplan and commercial loan offerings for AHM Auto and Powersports Dealers. The Assistant Manager role entails supervising the initiation and upkeep of new and existing floorplan accounts for Powersports, Power Equipment, and Marine franchised dealerships. Additionally, this position involves providing guidance, training, and support to Powersports associates and the Powersports Regional Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the wholesale portfolio for Powersports, Power Equipment, and Marine dealerships.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX requirements, auditing standards, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain the wholesale relationship with American Honda Motor (AHM).
  • Lead, develop, and manage the DFS Powersports associates.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

We seek qualified candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences, open-mindedness, and a disciplined work ethic. To excel as an Assistant Manager, candidates should possess:

  • BA/BS degree required (preferably in Business/Finance or a related field).
  • Master's degree and/or CPA preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a DFS Senior Financial Analyst.
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in Commercial Loan Underwriting.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities.
  • Hybrid work arrangement - required to work 3 days in the office.
