Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Medication Specialist to join our team at Glade Run Lutheran Services. As a key member of our Mobile Medication Program, you will play a vital role in providing essential medication services to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the Mobile Medication Program Treatment Team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Assist in counting and packaging daily and weekly dosages of medication supplies.
  • Deliver prescribed dosages of medications to consumer residences, ensuring timely and accurate administration.
  • Document all delivered dosages and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist consumers in obtaining prescriptions and refills as needed.
  • Instruct and supervise consumers in self-medication skills, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Respond appropriately to emergency situations, prioritizing the well-being and safety of consumers.
  • Attend staff meetings, conferences, and learning sessions to stay updated on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year experience working with seriously mentally ill patients, preferably with experience assisting patients in self-administration of medication.
  • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and willingness to travel throughout Butler County.
  • PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse History Clearance, FBI Clearance, and Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification Form.
  • Ability to identify with the agency Mission Statement and support the agency's Core Values.
  • Completion of agency Crisis/Physical Intervention training.
