Job Description

We are seeking an experienced associate with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join our energy project development and finance practice in the US. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project development and finance, specifically in distributed and utility-scale renewable energy projects.

The successful candidate will also have expertise in principal financing documentation, including purchase agreements, partnership agreements, credit agreements, security and pledge agreements, and depositary agreements. Additionally, they should have knowledge of key commercial project documentation, such as development agreements, PPAs, EPCs, site control, and interconnection agreements.

A strong understanding of due diligence is also essential for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project objectives
  • Develop and implement project financing strategies
  • Analyze and review project documentation
  • Conduct due diligence on potential projects
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM) degree from an American Bar Association (ABA)-accredited law school
  • Admitted or eligible for admission to the bar in MA, DC, NY, or CA
  • At least 4 years of project finance experience at a law firm
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 depending on location and experience.
