Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail point of sale, grocery, or warehouse setting as a merchandise receiver or inventory auditor.
  • Proven ability to code and reconcile invoices accurately.
  • Strong merchandising capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret and understand financial statements relevant to this role.
  • Commitment to follow through on responsibilities and work collaboratively as a team member.

Additional Information:

The Merchandise Receiving Coordinator operates within a retail grocery, kitchen/bakery, and office environment. This role is essential for verifying received products, ensuring quality assurance, and maintaining the accuracy of our Point of Sale (POS) database. Responsibilities include receiving both packaged and perishable goods directly from delivery personnel and ensuring the correctness of invoices and product quality. The position also involves general computer, phone, and office tasks, as well as frequent operation of forklifts/pallet jacks and working in coolers and kitchen/bakery production areas. Physical demands include bending, reaching, walking, standing, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.

This role requires a dedicated schedule, including shifts during opening, closing, weekends, and holidays.
