Job Summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is a leading manufacturer of custom oligonucleotides and proprietary technologies for genomics applications. We are seeking a skilled Cost Accountant to join our Finance Department in Coralville, IA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a standard costing system to ensure accurate inventory valuations and cost accumulation.
  • Estimate product costs to support quoting activities.
  • Conduct thorough inventory reconciliations.
  • Contribute to month-end closing and preparation of monthly financial and operational reporting.
  • Analyze variances and communicate explanations to management with recommended actions.
  • Provide proactive consultation to department leaders to drive business decisions related to inventory, costing, and scrap.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance-related fields.
  • Understanding of financial accounting and ERP systems.
Work Environment
  • Ability to travel domestically to other manufacturing locations (
