Job Title: Adjunct Faculty - Advanced Manufacturing

Job Summary:

Amarillo College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty - Advanced Manufacturing to join our team. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching Advanced Manufacturing courses, including core classes and specialization courses in Electromechanical, Instrumentation, Renewable Energy, and HVAC areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach Advanced Manufacturing courses as assigned each semester.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student involvement and application of the material.
  • Evaluate students to measure their progress.
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and orientations as required.
  • Participate in course and curriculum development, revision, and evaluation.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of student attendance and academic performance.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or higher and demonstrated competencies in Advanced Manufacturing.
  • Three (3) years of industry-related work experience.
  • Ability to follow industrial safety standards.
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.
  • Good oral and written command of the English language and grammar.
