Amarillo College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty - Engineering to join our team. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching courses in the engineering area, utilizing engaging instructional methods and techniques. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, with a strong commitment to student learning and success.
Responsibilities- Teach assigned courses, utilizing effective instructional methods and techniques.
- Participate in course and curriculum development, revision, and evaluation.
- Design and implement assessments to measure student learning outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student attendance and academic performance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Previous post-secondary teaching experience preferred.
- Good oral and written command of the English language and grammar.
- Ability to work under stress, work independently, and as a team member.
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
