Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at ADM in Buffalo, NY. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, installing, and repairing electrical equipment and systems throughout the facility.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment and systems.
  • Install and repair electrical equipment, including motors, starters, and control systems.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of electrical maintenance procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities and perform routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operation of our facilities and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our electrical systems and equipment to optimize maintenance efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall goals and objectives of the maintenance team.

Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance or a related field; industrial setting experience a plus.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with maintenance personnel, operations staff, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn and apply new skills and technologies to improve maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.

Work Environment:


This position requires working in a variety of industrial settings, including but not limited to: manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and outdoor environments. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.


Physical Requirements:


This position requires the ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies, climb ladders and work at heights, and work in a variety of environmental conditions. The successful candidate will be able to work in a physically demanding environment and adapt to changing conditions.
