As a Concierge at AccorHotel, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences. Your ability to anticipate and meet the needs of our guests will ensure a truly memorable and personalized stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to all guests
- Assist guests with mail, messages, and arrangements during their stay
- Provide information about hotel facilities and services
- Use clear and articulate communication skills
- Exercise judgment when handling guest inquiries and respond promptly with accurate information
- Arrange and confirm recreational, dining, and business activities for guests
- Answer phones using a positive and articulate speaking voice
- Keep detailed records of guest interactions and requests
- Handle guest mail and packages, leaving messages when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Update information at the desk and inform fellow Concierges
- Resolve guest challenges and develop effective solutions
- Listen and extend assistance to resolve challenges quickly and efficiently
- Deal with internal and external guests, using patience, tact, and diplomacy
- Suggest local and statewide attractions for guest entertainment
- Give accurate and clear directions
- Observe and detect signs of emergency situations
- Prioritize many requests and follow department policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous customer-related experience is an asset
- Professional presentation and outstanding guest service skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to accurately access and input information using a computer system
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications is an asset
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
Physical Aspects of the Position:
- Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
- Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps
