Job Title: Autism Behavior Technician

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Behavior Technician to join our team at LittleStar ABA Therapy. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional services to individuals with autism and their families.

About the Role:

The Autism Behavior Technician position is a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients. As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with individuals on the autism spectrum, implementing their individualized programs and helping them learn new skills that improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualized programs for patients with autism, using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques.
  • Work closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to patients and their families, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with other clinical staff to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • A passion for helping others, patience, and kindness.
  • Dependable and responsible.
  • Able to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Able to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other staff.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, reliable and safe vehicle, and a clean driving record.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs., and to engage in physical activities like running, jumping, reaching with arms, etc.
Work Environment:

This role operates in a clinical environment, with standard office and audiovisual equipment. Position may also operate at offsite locations, including a patient's home, school, or place of employment. This role will be expected to work at multiple sites with multiple patients.

This position is not eligible for telecommuting.
