Medical Assistant Primary Care Specialist

The Medical Assistant Primary Care Specialist will provide high-quality patient care and support to the healthcare team in a fast-paced primary care setting. This role requires excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
- Take and record patient vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant information
- Prepare and maintain patient charts, files, and other documents
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
- Provide patient education and support on health-related topics
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Medical Assistant certification required within 90 days of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
This role is based in a primary care clinic setting, with a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of patient satisfaction.
