Export Operations Specialist

Position Overview:
In this pivotal role, you will be tasked with the preparation and management of all essential documentation to facilitate the smooth, economical, and compliant execution of export activities. You will serve as the main liaison for assigned clients and agents within the Aerospace sector, delivering exceptional operational support that encompasses quoting, routing, and executing freight shipments across a variety of transportation modes, including domestic, international, air, cross-border, charter, and hand-carry operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address complex inquiries and ensure timely and precise filing of necessary documents.
- Oversee customer invoicing and approval processes with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
- Communicate effectively with overseas partners and clients, providing clear shipping instructions.
- Engage in rate negotiations to enhance profitability while delivering value to our clients.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in international freight forwarding operations, with at least 1 year of experience using CargoWise preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with HazMat regulations (IATA, IMDG, and 49CFR certifications preferred) and a comprehensive understanding of international air and ocean export/import regulations and customs laws.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, with a flexible schedule to accommodate client requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant computer applications.
Work Schedule:
Shifts are available from Monday to Friday (morning shifts), Friday to Monday (10-hour shifts), and overnight shifts (5 days a week). Bring your enthusiasm, energy, and meticulous attention to detail to a dynamic team that prioritizes growth, creativity, and exceptional customer service.
