As a Financial Analyst I, you will collaborate closely with the Manager of Budgeting and Analysis to conduct annual budgeting, monthly financial performance evaluations, quarterly financial forecasting, and various analytical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance and enhancement of the Budgeting/Forecasting Model.
- Collaborate with the Manager and other analysts to generate Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) and Monthly Operating Performance Reports.
- Engage in financial analysis and problem-solving related to performance reporting and transfer pricing.
- Coordinate, consolidate, and analyze the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
- Provide financial analysis and planning support to various organizational groups.
- Participate in acquisition analysis and special projects as directed by the Manager.
- Uphold a commitment to established Bank programs, including CustomerFirst and Equal Employment Opportunity.
- Gather data from multiple systems and prepare reports utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Develop written narratives that summarize financial results.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in financial analysis is essential.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel, including macros and pivot tables, is necessary.
Skills and Competencies:
- Previous experience in report preparation is advantageous.
- Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of data efficiently, presenting findings in clear formats.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve routine inquiries while escalating complex issues as needed.
Compensation:
The starting base salary for this position is $36.69 per hour. Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This role is also eligible for bonuses and/or commissions.
