Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative and Accounting Assistant to join our team at Computer Transition Services, Inc. This role will provide essential support to our valued customers, vendors, partners, employees, and the general public, while also working closely with our Administration and Accounting Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by warmly greeting and welcoming guests, answering phone calls with professionalism, and directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals.
  • Manage the lobby area, ensuring it is immaculate and inviting, and maintain an organized mailroom with well-stocked office supplies.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, events, and activities efficiently, and oversee the procurement of office and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Assist with various daily, weekly, and monthly tasks, including document and record storage, and support the Controller and staff accountants with their daily operations.
  • Act as the primary Testing Administrator for our public testing center, and assist with various other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and strong spelling and grammar skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to operate a motor vehicle with dependable transportation for office errands.
  • 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or general accounting is preferred, with familiarity with basic accounting principles.
Work Environment

This role is mostly inside the office, with some outside activities such as pickups and deliveries. The employee will frequently be required to sit for extended periods, use hands to operate computer equipment, and may also be required to climb and descend stairs.
