Join DuPont de Nemours, Inc. as a Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at the DuPont Circleville site. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for capital project execution within E&I and at the site for Kapton, Vespel, and Tedlar.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering design, equipment specification, procurement, and installation and commissioning support for capital projects within each line of business.
  • Engineer technical aspects of capital projects including scope, specification, vendor bid management and project cost estimation.
  • Manage project engineering through startup, operator training, procedure development, managing budgets, and contractor work.
  • Work closely with field personnel to troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective action/process improvements.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings, safety improvements and schedule improvements.
  • Support, understand and comply with safety, health and environmental regulations and programs.
Requirements:
  • BS in a related technical field, Engineering preferred, or advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot equipment and processes.
  • Experience with specification and selection of rotating equipment such as pumps, blowers, and compressors is preferred.
  • Experience with automated process control preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency required. Basic knowledge of AutoCAD preferred. Knowledge of SAP a plus.
