Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment

Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues with plant equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Perform Preventive Maintenance

Conduct regular maintenance on all plant equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.

Building Maintenance and Repairs

Perform repairs and maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, lighting, and forklifts.

Electrical and Electronic Troubleshooting

Use advanced diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic issues with plant equipment.

Food Safety and Quality

Ensure compliance with all food safety requirements and report any issues to management.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience

A 2-year degree in electronics or maintenance mechanics, or 5+ years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role.

Technical Skills

Experience with repair or preventive maintenance in hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop, electricity, or electronics.

PLC Experience

Advanced knowledge of PLC systems and control circuits.

CMMS and Lockout/Tagout

Working knowledge of CMMS and lockout/tagout programs.

Welding and Fabrication

Advanced stick and tig welding skills, with the ability to weld to sanitary standards.

Computer Skills

Intermediate computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.

Working Conditions

This is a night shift position, working Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 pm to 5:30 am, with overtime as needed.

Compensation

The hourly wage for this position is $33-$37 per hour.
