Fleet Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of vehicles.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues with vehicles and equipment.
- Work with the fleet manager to develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize fleet efficiency.
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to share knowledge and best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in heavy duty truck repair preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair; experience with diesel engines and heavy duty trucks a plus.
- Excellent mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills; ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to mechanical equipment and tools. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives.
