Tooling Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Tooling Maintenance Technician to join our team at Quanex. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our tooling equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble tooling after production runs.
• Operate a variety of equipment, including hand tools and machinery, to clean, repair, and prepare tooling for production.
• Diagnose and correct problems encountered while running tooling online.
• Clean and repair die heads and flange plates.
• Wire, test, install, and maintain heater bands and electrical cords.
Requirements:
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Previous industrial experience.
• Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot.
• Good reading and mathematical proficiencies.
• Ability to operate hand tools and equipment required to complete job-related tasks.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend.
• Safety focus with a willingness to adhere to safety guidelines.

Salary:
