Maintenance Porter Job Description

At SP+, we are committed to making every moment matter for a world on the go. As a Maintenance Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our parking facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including equipment service and general housekeeping duties.
  • Ensure all areas of the facility are clean and free of debris.
  • Operate automatic sweepers, scrubbers, and other equipment as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Assist with cash handling and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more regularly.
Benefits:

This is an overnight position with a dollar differential bringing the hourly rate from $19.80 to $20.80 per hour. Weekend availability is required. This is a part-time position with the potential to become full-time.

The position is with SP+ managing the parking operation for Syracuse Hancock International Airport. This individual would be self-motivated and able to work independently. They will have a proven track record that demonstrates reliability.
