Maintenance Porter

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Porter to join our team at SP Plus Corporation. As a Maintenance Porter, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure the facility is safe and clean for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including equipment service and general housekeeping duties.
- Walk the garage daily to identify and correct any maintenance issues.
- Sweep and clean the entrance and exit areas, as well as the stairwells and surface area rails.
- Empty trashcans and submit requests for repairs or maintenance.
- Paint and touch up areas as directed by the facility manager.
- Replace burned-out bulbs and apply oil absorbent to oil spills.
- Check safety items, such as gate arms, and report any issues to the facility manager.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
- Assist with cashier and attendant duties as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in facility maintenance or a related field preferred.
- Ability to lift and move 50 pounds or more regularly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
