Director of Performance Improvement

The Director of Performance Improvement plays a critical role in planning, coordinating, and directing activities related to the facility-wide performance and quality improvement program and processes. This position requires a strong understanding of healthcare regulations, quality improvement methodologies, and data analysis techniques. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Nursing or a related field, with a minimum of three years of experience in healthcare, performance improvement, and regulatory compliance. The Director of Performance Improvement will work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement strategies to improve patient care, reduce risk, and enhance the overall quality of services provided by UHS.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and reduce risk
- Conduct data analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide training and education to staff on quality improvement methodologies and best practices
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives and make recommendations for improvement
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing or a related field
- Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare, performance improvement, and regulatory compliance
- Knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, and state hospital regulations
- Ability to analyze data and develop strategies to improve performance and reduce risk
- Sensitive and aware of diverse cultures and their practices
