We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant/Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Facility Maine Medical Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting, utilizing advanced medical knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic testing.
- Diagnose and treat medical problems, developing and implementing treatment plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, adhering to confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field.
- Current Physician Assistant license in the State of Maine or eligibility for licensure.
- NCCPA certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
