Job Description
The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT) performs various laboratory tests, including waived, moderate, and highly complex tests. Key responsibilities include:
  • Performing laboratory tests according to established protocols.
  • Operating laboratory instrumentation and recognizing instrument malfunctions.
  • Performing routine maintenance and quality control testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • An MLT (ASCP) certification or equivalent.
  • A successful completion of an accredited MLT program or equivalent work experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
