Environmental Services Manager

Kettering Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Services Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our hospitals and outpatient facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Management: Develop and manage the Environmental Services budget, ensuring that expenses are controlled and financial data is accurate and timely.
- Customer Relations: Foster strong relationships with customers, including patients, families, and staff, to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Operational Excellence: Lead the Environmental Services team to achieve high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies and hospital policies.
- People Management: Coach and develop staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment, and ensuring that all employees have the necessary training and resources to perform their jobs effectively.
- Administration: Maintain accurate records and statistics, and ensure that all administrative and regulatory requirements are met.
- Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental services or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- IEHA Certification: Preferred.
- Contract Administration: Knowledge of contract administration and office procedures.
- Time Management: Above-average time management skills.
