Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Electrical Technician Sr to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise and guidance while performing various operational, functional tests and repairs of avionics/electronic, aircraft equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and perform technical tests and repairs of avionics/electronic, aircraft equipment and systems.
  2. Provide direct training to personnel to support company cross-training goals.
  3. Ensure quality and efficiency of all installations, troubleshoot and teach troubleshooting processes.
  4. Repair or replace defective components and wiring to ensure installations meet conformity.
  5. Oversee the performance and compliance with engineering changes and modifications.
  6. Set up and operate necessary test equipment, conduct functional and operational tests.
  7. Document all work performed on the aircraft properly and completely.
  8. Enforce company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program and all safety regulations.
Requirements
  1. High School Diploma or GED required.
  2. 6 years experience in an avionics/electrical career field; or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and four (4) years related experience.
  3. A & P license, FCC license or NCATT certification preferred.
  4. Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  5. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Additional Information

This is a full-time position with up to 25% travel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in avionics and electrical systems, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
