Avionics Electrical Technician Sr

We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics Electrical Technician Sr to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics/electronic aircraft equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Expertise: Provide superior technical skills and expertise in avionics and aircraft systems operational testing and troubleshooting.
- Training and Development: Directly train personnel to support company cross-training goals, ensuring a safety-conscious, quality-oriented, skilled workforce.
- Installation and Testing: Teach the installation and functional testing of electrical/avionics components and systems per Engineering specifications, drawings, and maintenance manuals.
- Quality and Efficiency: Ensure quality and efficiency of all installations, troubleshoot, and teach troubleshooting processes/concepts to provide timely, quality repairs of malfunctioning systems.
- Repair and Replacement: Demonstrate effective repair techniques using acceptable practices, including splicing, soldering, and pinning of wiring.
- Test Equipment: Set up and operate necessary test equipment, conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability.
- Documentation: Maintain daily logs and other paperwork, ensuring that all work performed on the aircraft is properly and completely documented.
- Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to team members, enforcing company policies and procedures.
- Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED required, 6 years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field, or 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and 4 years of related experience.
- Licenses and Certifications: A&P license, FCC license, or NCATT certification preferred.
- Additional Skills: Preferred proficiency in the operation and troubleshooting of other aircraft systems or disciplines, such as hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls, environmental controls, or structural installations and repairs.
