Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at Fox Factory. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the plant to ensure UTVs are built timely and accurately. This involves reading invoices and blueprints, assembling and installing electrical systems, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assembly and installation of manufactured and purchased material, hardware, and electrical components.
  • Use handheld tools, impact driver, drill, crimpers, wire strippers, multi-meter, test light, and other tools.
  • Clean components and work areas before UTVs leave your station.
  • Train new hires.
  • Inventory management.
  • Self-paced and keep pace with UTV flow.
  • Ensure quality standards are met on all parts.
  • Foresee and troubleshoot any wiring and quality issues.
  • Communicate installation status and troubleshooting results with the lead of the electrical team.
  • Communicate with the lead, team, and other departments as needed.
Requirements
  • Must have 12-volt electronic, automotive, mechanical, and/or technical work knowledge.
  • Read and understand schematics, drawings, and invoices.
  • Experience with use of hand and power tools.
  • AC/DC fundamentals are preferred.
  • Ability to work in both a team environment and independently.

Position Qualifications
  • Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years of 12-volt electronic, automotive, mechanical, and/or technical work experience.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged sitting or standing for long periods of time.
  • Frequent walking.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • Occasionally will lift up to 25-50 pounds.
  • Frequent rapid mental/hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures.
