Patient Care Technician

DaVita is seeking a full-time Patient Care Technician who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in an outpatient dialysis center. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in the care team, working closely with nurses, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to provide safe, comfortable, and hygienic dialysis treatment to patients with end-stage renal disease.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct Patient Care: Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care, monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
- Technician Duties: Monitor patients' vital signs, record stats, and perform hemodialysis machine setup.
- Building Relationships: Develop long-term relationships with patients and educate them on kidney dialysis-related topics.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with a cross-functional team of clinicians, including nurses, dietitians, and other PCTs, to provide comprehensive patient care.

- Ability to work a full-time variable schedule with rotating Saturday shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable working around blood and needles.
- Ability to mix acid or bicarb.
- Physical and mental ability to work long hours on your feet.
- Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed.
