Mental Health Therapist

Teladoc Health is a pioneer in telehealth, and we're seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As an independent contractor, you'll provide high-quality care to patients across the country, leveraging the latest technology to deliver evidence-based treatment.
Responsibilities- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat adult and adolescent mental health patients via video and phone communication channels.
- Collaborate with a healthcare team to provide outpatient tele-mental health therapy services, adhering to the standard of care for telehealth therapy patients.
- Analyze and maintain accurate, detailed, and timely completion of medical records.
- Support the Medical Director and product team in the development of new products and services, as needed.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws.
- Minimum 3+ years of non-supervised independent practice experience in a clinical setting assessing, diagnosing, and preparing patient treatment plans.
- Master's degree or higher from a graduate school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
- Active license as a LMFT, LPC, LMHC, LICSW, or LCSW, with current licensure for independent clinical practice in any of the 50 U.S. states or the District of Columbia.
- Experience with empirically supported psychotherapy for PTSD, depressive, and anxiety disorders preferred.
