Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Medicine Physician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive clinical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive, compassionate healthcare to patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, manage acute and chronic illnesses, and provide health education and counseling.
- Prescribe and administer medications, and delegate immunization duties to clinical support staff as allowed by federal, state, and professional guidelines.
- Initiate laboratory, radiology, and pathology exams, and specialty consults as necessary.
- Review and follow up on incoming reports in a timely manner.
- Exercise judgment in establishing priorities of medical care and consult with and refer to appropriate specialists in regards to high-risk or complex patients.
- Medical Degree
- Active Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy (M.D. or D.O.) license in the state of New York as required
- Board Certification
- Active DEA license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team
- Demonstrated professional competence and integrity and ethical conduct of practice
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and effective conflict resolution skills
- Patient-focused and committed to providing outstanding and compassionate care and service to all patients
- Strong computer skills and EMR knowledge
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $200,000-$300,000, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, life, disability, vision, FSA coverages, and a 401k savings plan.
