Senior SolidWorks CAD Designer
Company OverviewWe are a fast-paced organization seeking an experienced senior SolidWorks CAD Designer to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing detailed drawings and models, setting up models for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation in ANSYS, and managing Product Data Management (PDM) systems.

Job DescriptionThis role plays a crucial part in the design and development of our products, ensuring high-quality and efficient design processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing detailed 3D models and technical drawings using SolidWorks.
- Setting up CFD simulations in ANSYS to support simulation models to validate and optimize design concepts.
- Managing and maintaining design data using PDM systems.
- Collaborating with engineers and other team members to refine product designs.
- Ensuring all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Documenting design processes and maintaining accurate records.
- Staying updated with the latest SolidWorks and ANSYS features and industry trends.
- Managing, maintaining, and interpreting Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Preparing drawings and wire diagrams as needed.
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- Extensive experience with SolidWorks, including 3D modeling, simulation, and PDM.
- Proficiency in setting up CFD simulations in ANSYS.
- A strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with other CAD software (e.g., Creo, Solid Edge, AutoCAD, Revit) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
