Position Overview

P. Terry's Burger Stand is seeking a dedicated General Manager (GM) who is passionate about fostering a people-oriented environment. If you are committed to enhancing the dining experience and developing a strong team, this role is tailored for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cultivating a Positive Restaurant Culture: Establish an inviting atmosphere that resonates with both crew members and guests.
  • Community Engagement: Strengthen P. Terry's presence in the local area through effective marketing and relationship-building.
  • Team Development: Recruit, interview, and onboard Managers and Crew Members to create a robust workforce.
  • Training and Standards: Ensure ongoing training and adherence to operational standards for all staff.
  • Management Oversight: Lead the Management Team by setting schedules and delegating responsibilities effectively.
  • Operational Success: Drive the profitability and efficiency of restaurant operations.
  • Sales and Performance Initiatives: Collaborate with the Management Team to implement strategies that enhance sales and overall performance.
  • Inventory and Budget Management: Oversee the planning and execution of inventory and budgetary requirements.
  • Financial Accountability: Manage and review weekly and monthly profit and loss statements.
  • Cash Handling Compliance: Ensure adherence to cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Facility Maintenance: Supervise the cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant and its equipment.
  • Food Safety Practices: Uphold safe food handling protocols.
  • Vendor Relations: Act as the primary contact for restaurant vendors and corporate communications.
  • Meeting Participation: Attend scheduled meetings to align on business objectives.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two to three years of experience in a General Manager role.
  • Experience in a drive-thru environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy setting.
  • Hands-on leadership skills in both back-of-house and front-of-house operations.
  • Positive attitude with a competitive spirit.
  • Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, pull, or carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Willingness to work extended shifts and remain on feet for prolonged periods.
  • Capability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for items at various heights.
