Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ground Support Equipment Technician to join our team at TREGO DUGAN AVIATION of GRAND ISLAND, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on ground support equipment, ensuring timely and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain ground support equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and/or overhaul ground support equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Diagnose problems using test equipment and applicable manuals to identify root causes.
  • Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
  • Conduct thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems to prevent failures.
  • Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components to ensure smooth operation.
  • Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery to maintain performance.
  • Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users.
  • Keep logs of work and report on issues to ensure transparency.
  • Completion of GSE paperwork as required.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Some mechanical experience.
  • Ability to learn through hands-on experience.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Ability to work a variety of assigned shifts, including evenings and weekends.
