Job Title: Patient Navigator - Imaging and Hereditary Cancer Testing Specialist

At HALO Precision Diagnostics, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and experience. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Navigator to join our team in Temecula, CA.

Job Summary:

The Patient Navigator will play a pivotal role in collaborating with our clinical team to provide an exceptional patient experience to a diverse patient population in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent medical office experience coordinating with a team of medical professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Genetics education for high-risk patients
  • Registration and scheduling follow-up appointments for genetic testing
  • Collection of specimens for genetic testing
  • Liaison between patient, Radiologist, Pathologist, and Referring Physicians
  • Insurance verification and authorization
  • Maintain compassion and professional demeanor with patients in a fast-paced environment
  • Distribute positive genetic test results to referring physicians
Qualifications:

1 year of certified medical assistant experience in imaging highly preferred. Applicants should be prepared to demonstrate their technical skills through a comprehensive assessment as part of the selection process.
