Job Summary

We're looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Patient Navigator to specialize in imaging and hereditary cancer testing. As a key member of our clinical team, you'll play a pivotal role in collaborating with radiologists, pathologists, and referring physicians to provide an exceptional patient experience. In this full-time opportunity, you'll work Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm, in our Temecula, CA location.

Responsibilities
  • Provide genetics education to high-risk patients and their families.
  • Register and schedule follow-up appointments for genetic testing.
  • Collect specimens for genetic testing and ensure accurate processing.
  • Act as a liaison between patients, radiologists, pathologists, and referring physicians to ensure seamless communication.
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
  • Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Distribute positive genetic test results to referring physicians and ensure timely follow-up care.
Qualifications

We're seeking a candidate with at least 1 year of recent medical office experience, preferably in imaging. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required. Our ideal candidate is a certified medical assistant with a strong understanding of genetics and imaging procedures.
