Overview:

This role involves conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting, and performing repairs on airframe structures, engines, and various aircraft systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute all airframe and powerplant repairs and modifications in compliance with company and FAA standards.
  • Disassemble defective components and install replacement parts while testing aircraft systems.
  • Utilize necessary power tools and equipment to complete job assignments efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, including time tracking for tasks performed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations, including OSHA and EPA guidelines.
  • Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints effectively.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Exhibit professionalism and provide excellent service to both internal and external customers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Must possess an FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
  • 2-4 years of relevant aviation experience, preferably with corporate aircraft.
  • At least 2 years of experience with specific fleet types is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) Part 145, 135, and 121.
  • Sheet metal experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Required Skills:
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Strong multitasking capabilities within a team setting.
  • Proficient in Windows and MS Office applications.
  • Demonstrated inspection competencies.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent communication skills.
  • Possess a positive attitude and the ability to pass a background check for airport security.

Work Environment:
The role involves exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and mechanical parts, with occasional exposure to extreme weather conditions. The noise level can be high.

Physical Demands:
Employees must be able to perform essential functions, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, and color vision, as well as depth perception.
