As a Bar Support Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks and alcoholic beverages to the wait staff, adhering to established recipes and quality standards while ensuring a tidy work environment. You will also assist the wait staff as needed, ensuring timely delivery of food to guests and helping maintain the efficiency of the dining area by addressing guests' needs.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with guests and colleagues in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Arrive punctually for scheduled shifts, prepared to work.
  • Wear the appropriate uniform at all times while in work areas.
  • Set up and dismantle your work station efficiently.
  • Keep your station clean and organized throughout your shift.
  • Prepare all beverages, garnishes, mixers, and syrups according to standard recipes.
  • Assist with bussing tables and support the efficient operation of the dining area by fulfilling beverage orders as required.
  • Ensure beverage inventory is maintained at optimal serving temperatures and restock the Service Bar with necessary items before the end of each shift.
  • Maintain sufficient ice levels for drink preparation.
  • Assist in washing and restocking glassware for bar drinks and guest use.
  • Replace beer kegs (must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs).
  • Document all spills and promotional comps accurately.
  • Dispose of all service bar waste properly.
  • Clean and maintain all equipment and utensils necessary for job performance, reporting any issues to the supervisor immediately.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with coworkers and management in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
  • Follow management's guidance and recommendations.
  • Read and comprehend tickets, including menu items and modifications.
  • Sweep and mop bar floors as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and understand incoming tickets.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Proficient in using a knife and other necessary equipment.
  • Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification and adhere to proper sanitation practices.
